Frances Hall McFalls, 88, of Morganton, NC, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Wednesday, June 26, 2024. Born on December 18, 1935, she was the daughter to the late Charles and Lucy Hume Hall. Frances was a member of North Morganton Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir. She retired in 1995 from Broughton Hospital. She enjoyed kittens. Frances was a loving, caring person who will be missed by all. She loved her family and would do anything for them.

Frances is survived by her children, Jerry Dean McFalls (Anita), Donna Lynn Shelton (Douglas); grandchildren, Ashley Lane (Lawrence), Kerri McFalls (Seth), Savannah Shelton, Jeremy Martino; 3 great-grandchildren, Clara Lane, Callie Lane, Natalie Martino.

In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her husband, William J. McFalls; brothers, Roy Hall, Charles Hall; sisters, Mary Lee Bailey, Doris Furr, Nancy Moore. A special thank you to Debra Letterman and Amorem in Burke County for their wonderful care.

The family will receive friends from 4pm until 5pm, Saturday, June 29, 2024 at North Morganton Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held in the church at 5pm with the Revs. Garry Gardner and Kenny Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to North Morganton Baptist Church.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
