Frank Junior Buff

Frank Junior Buff, 80, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 12, 2014. He was born in Burke County on August 3, 1933 and was the son of the late Frank Albert Buff and Mary Lou Dale Buff. Surviving are sons, Larry and Gerald Buff both of Morganton; daughters, Jean Pitts and husband, Miles of Glen Alpine, and Cathy Wheeler and husband, Victor, and Donna Hill all of Hickory; sisters and their husbands, Dorothy and Charlie Holland, Hester and Ed Gurley, and Nancy and Fred Costner; grandchildren, Hannah Fox and her husband, Jacob, William Pitts, George and Sara Hill and Zachary and Nathaniel Wheeler; great-grandchildren, Greyson and Nole Fox; and a number of nieces and nephews.The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Gant officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in Frank’s memory to Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 5388 Mt.
