Frank Mull

Frank Mull, 76, of Garland Johnson Road, Morganton, NC, died Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at Grace Hospital. Born in Burke County, NC on May 27, 1932, he was the son of Posie Magnolia "Nola" Denton Mull and the late Arthur Nelson Mull. Frank was a member of Burkemont Baptist Church and was a retired supervisor at Morganton Dye and Finishing.In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Julia Poteet Moore Mull of the home; a son, John Nelson Mull and wife, Sherri, of Vale, NC; a daughter, Frankie Hensley and husband, Mark, of Morganton; step-sons, Keith Tate of Drexel, NC, Eddie Moore of Morganton, and Randy Moore of Morganton; a brother, Spencer Mull of Morganton; and sister, Sudie Crowder of Morganton; grandchildren, Zack Hensley and Kayla Hensley; and five step-grandchildren.Frank was preceded in death by his first wife, Zora Mae Mull; a son, Tilden Alexander Mull; and brothers, Max, Clyde, and Donald Mull.The funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, August 22, 2008 at Burkemont Baptist Church with Rev. David Mills officiating. Burial will follow in Faith Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors provided by Valdese American Legion Post #234. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7:00 until 8:30 p.m. at Sossoman Funeral Home where the body will remain until placed in the church thirty minutes prior to the funeral.
