Frank Stump, 81, of Morganton, NC died Sunday, February 8, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Philadelphia, PA on December 17, 1933. Frank retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years of service. He served in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars. After leaving the navy he went to work for and retired from Coca Cola.
Frank is survived by his wife, Betty L. Knight of the home; a daughter, Anna Margaret Jacobson and her husband, Brad, of Alexander, VA; and a brother, Joe Stump of Philadelphia.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, his former wife, Delores Stump; one brother; and five sisters.
No services are planned for Mr. Stump.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
