Frank Vincent Rose

Frank Vincent Rose, 46, died unexpectedly Saturday, May 15, 2010. He was born in Cherokee County, NC on January 3, 1964 and was a son of Mary Magdalene Rose of Morganton and the late Gid Rose. In addition to his father, Frank was preceded in death by a brother, Clyde Rose.He worked in the tree service industry for a number of years with both of his brother, Clyde and Grady Rose, and with Asplundh. Frank was also a former employee of Hickory Hill Furniture. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed watching his pet deer and his beloved dogs.Surviving are his brother, Grady Rose, of Morganton; and sisters, Mary Kathryn Gross of Gastonia, and Mozella Fairchild and Bell Lane and her husband, James, all of Morganton. Frank has sixteen nephews and nieces and numerous great-nephews and great-nieces. He was a special brother and uncle and will be greatly missed by all.The funeral will be held at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, 2010 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home. The family will receive friends before the service from 3:00 until 4:30 p.m. The burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Unaka Baptist Church Cemetery, Murphy NC.
