Frankie Stilwell

Frankie Stilwell, 85, of Connelly Springs, NC crossed the river to the promised land on Saturday, April 18, 2015.  Born in Caldwell County, NC on April 26, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Robert Auton and Amanda Roberts Auton.  Mrs. Stilwell was a member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church and was an active member of the Democratic Party.  She enjoyed humming birds, gardening, and canning.  She was dearly loved by her family, especially her grandchildren.

Frankie is survived by her sons, Wayne Stilwell and his wife, Pat, of Connelly Springs, NC and Randy Lynn Stilwell and his wife, Pearl, of Lenoir, NC; daughters, Marcel McDougal and her husband, Joe Santoni, of Jacksonville, FL and Annette Robinson and her husband, Danver, of Drexel, NC; a daughter-in-law, Teresa Stilwell of Connelly Springs; grandchildren, Samantha, Savannah, and Jody Stilwell, Shastin Harrell, and Brady, Haley, and Whitney Lail; twelve great-grandchildren; and a sister, Juanita Roberts of Lenoir.

In addition to her parents, Frankie was preceded in death by her husband, Brady Edward Stilwell; a son, “Robin” Aaron Stilwell; three brother; and two sisters.

The memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church with the Rev. Eric James officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Sossoman Funeral Home.
