Franklin Lee “Frankie” Mode

Franklin Lee “Frankie” Mode, 61 of Morganton, NC passed away, Sunday, May 29, 2022. Born on March 19, 1961, he was the son of the late Andrew and Ruby Mode. Frankie was of the Baptist faith. He loved life and never met a stranger. Frankie was a dyer at Morganton Dye and Finishing. He loved to tinker with small engines and being outdoors. Frankie will be missed by many.

Frankie is survived by his daughter, Kristen; brother, Charles “Charlie” Edward Mode; friend, Tracy Johnson; special aunt, Faye Norman; lifelong friend and brother, Tim Smith (Marsha).

In addition to his parents, Frankie was preceded in death by his brothers, Tommy Mode, Andy Mode; sister, Jaqueline “Jackie” Graham.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm, Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Nowlings Chapel Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Darvy Hensley officiating.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
