Dear Renate, Very sad to hear that Frank passed. I had the pleasure of working with Frank at IBM in Cincinnati. Visited in Charleston and at Gingercake. Frank always had time to share information and assist others. I was a better employee as a result. I worked with him after retirement on personal projects, as well as business opportunities. I was very fortunate to have known and worked with Frank. His absence leaves a void in our world.

Dear Renate, Our hearts go out to you. What a shock it was to read of Frank’s death in the Post and Courier this week. We were away when it occurred. It is weird that we were thinking of him several days before, when we drove by the “Variety Store”, where we used to have lunch together. And we talked about how much we missed both of you. And then to read this announcement threw us for a loop. We can only imagine how you are feeling. Please contact us whenever you can. We send love and hugs. Mindy and Bob

Frank was good friend of ours. We played golf together, enjoyed many meals and they never forgot my Birthday. They also kept us busy building furniture for their cabin in the mountains and I will miss the fun email we sent to each other. Bob & Cindy Harris

Really sad news about Frank’s passing. We spent many years in the Coast Guard Auxiliary together. Countless safety and Navigation patrols. Our condolences to Renate. Both had a strong personal effect on me over the years of our Coast Guard service. God Bless!

I have so many heartfelt memories of Frank. My late husband Dennis & I played many, many games of golf with Frank & Re, ate many, many meals together, and evenings, talking about life & politics. A fine family man, dog lover, & caring husband. I will miss him.
