Fred H. Clontz

Fred H. Clontz, 67, of Morganton, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2014. He was born in Burke County on June 13, 1946 to the late James Roy Clontz, Sr., and Lillie Beatrice Hoyle Clontz. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend.He is survived by his wife, Vickie Brooks Clontz; daughters, Lori Williams, Janie Clontz, and Royanna Clontz; stepchildren, Woodie Wilson and Rita Mace; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; sister, Pat Thompson; brother, James Roy Clontz, Jr.A gathering of friends will be from 2:00 until 4:00 pm on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Sossoman Funeral Home to assist with the funeral expenses.
