Frederick Frank Urdock

Frederick Frank Urdock, 76, of Morganton died Saturday, November 24, 2018.  Born in Tuscarawas, Ohio on October 15, 1942, he was the son of the late Joseph Urdock and Mary Hulin Urdock.  Frederick was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and with his buddies at the flea market.  He also enjoyed working with his hands, crafting ceramics, and collecting steins and pewter.

Mr. Urdock is survived by his wife, Loretta Urdock of the home; daughter, Kimberly Lloyd of Rootstown, OH; step-children, Larry Shouppe of CA, Laura Maples of CA, Michele Skelton of Morganton, Lois Jongberg of Morganton, Leslie Jongberg of Bozeman, MT, and C. C. Shouppe of CA; 16 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Frederick was preceded in death by a son and a brother.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m., Friday, November 30, 2018 at Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center.  The memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. in the Colonial Chapel of the funeral home.
