Leave a tribute for Fredrick (Freddie) Nelson Causby, Jr..
Fred and I were fraternity brothers at WCU. His pledge class was just before mine. We had a lot of good times together. Fred was a really great guy and I’ll miss him. Condolences to his family and we will remember you during this difficult time. Mark Sisk
Freddie was the best of the best.A man of great integrity a kind and gentle soul.I loved to tease him about living in the house with 5 females and he would just smile that easy going smile and say “ it’ not so bad they treat me like a king.” I loved Freddie from the first time I met him. Prayed many times for God to give him a miracle of healing, but it wasn’t to be on this earth with us but he surely is healed now I praise God for the time his family and friends got to spend with him. He will be watching over his precious family at all times now.Love you so much Freddie Aunt Shirley❤️❤️❤️
Our thoughts and prayers are with your family in these tough times.

Amy, I am so sorry for your loss. May God bless you and give you peace at this time.
I lived down the hall, at the Pike House at WCU with Fred, 1988. He was a senior and I was a fifth semester Sophmore according to his age. If you know, you know, it was better to be a Brother and know Fred, than a pledge. Fred took it to heart to teach the younger Pikes what it took to represent the Best and if it wasn’t for his calm cool demeanor a lot Of us would never have made it to be part of the tightest Brotherhood this World has ever seen. So a tribute to the man who brought decades of Brotherhood together by challenging us to be trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave , clean, and reverent ! You will be missed Brother, Phi Phi Kappa Alpha Dig
