Gayle Bolick, 82, of Morganton, NC died Wednesday, September 07, 2016 at Grace Ridge Health Care. Gayle was born on December 27, 1933 to the late Bryce Towery and Flossie Hull Everhart.
The loves of Gayle’s life were her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. She was a member of North Morganton United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Bolick is survived by daughters, Kathie Perkins Griffin of Morganton, NC and Sharon Kaye Motley and husband, Tony of Walnut Cove, NC; brothers, Sonny Towery and wife, Karen of Morganton, NC and Tommy Towery and wife, Glenda of Hickory, NC; and sister, Virginia Hudson of Lincolnton, NC. She is also survived by grandchildren, Chase Griffin and wife, Devanshea, Alexandra Griffin Cunningham and husband, Brett, Angela Motley, and Brandi Lawson and husband, Chris; and great-grandchildren, Jackson Griffin, Emma Griffin, Charli Griffin, Daniel Motley, Olivia Apathy, and Conner Apathy.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bolick was preceded in death by her husband, James “Jim” Bolick.
The family will receive friends, from 3:00 until 4:00 p.m. Friday, September 9, 2016 at North Morganton United Methodist Church. A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 p.m., on Friday in the church sanctuary with Rev. Burt Williams officiating.
