Gayle Greene, 64 of Morganton, NC passed away, Monday, December 2, 2024. Born on April 27, 1960, she was the daughter of the late David and Jewel Spires.

Gayle loved gardening, puzzles, watching hummingbirds from her front porch, and crafting. She also loved to be around her family, especially her grandchildren.

Gayle is survived by her husband, Gary Greene; children, Nicole McCombs (Jason), Stephanie Brittain, Linda Lloyd (Zach), Paul Greene (Brittany); grandchildren, Kinsley McCombs, Jonah Brittain, Noleigh Brittain, Lucas Lloyd, Abram Greene, Ezra Greene, Ireland Greene; siblings, Steve Spires (Marie), Roger Spires (Angela), Connie Hart (Robert); 4 nephews, and a number of extended family.

The family will receive friends from 4pm until 6pm, Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at Sossoman Funeral Home.

The family requested no flowers for Mrs. Greene.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
