George William Annis

George William Annis, 59, a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather, died Friday, February 22, 2013. Mr. Annis was born in Wayne County, MI on July 17, 1953 and was a son of the late George Herman Annis and Agnes Mae Campau Annis. George was an avid golfer and was of the Catholic Faith.He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Kathy Cox Annis of the home; children, Carson Annis and his wife, Brittany of Groton, CT and Kala Annis Leyva and her husband, Alfred, of Ft. Hood, TX; grandchildren, Zane Sanders and Chance Annis; and George’s siblings, Gayle Brown and her husband, Alan, of Morganton and Keith Annis and his wife, Susan, of Newnan, GA.The Funeral Mass will be held at 12pm Noon Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at St. Charles Catholic Borromeo Church with Father Kenneth Whittington officiating. The family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the service.
