Gladys Ingle Angel

Gladys Ingle Angel, 86, of Tomlinson Loop, Connelly Springs, NC died Thursday, January 01, 2009 at Valdese General Hospital. Born in Burke County, NC on June 22, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Gentry and Cora Childers Ingle. Gladys was a member of the Evangelical Methodist Church in Rutherford College. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Washington Angel; and sons, James Olen Angel and Marcus Angel.Surviving are a sister, Dorothy Daye of Connelly Springs, two nephews, and a niece.The funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 3, 2008 at the Evangelical Methodist Church, Rutherford College, NC with the Rev. Mark Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Shady Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church for one hour before the service. Sossoman Funeral Home is assisting the family.
