Grace Esta Wood Schwab

Grace Esta Wood Schwab, 109, of Morganton, NC died Saturday, May 10, 2014. Born in Erie County, PA on February 9, 1905, she was the daughter of the late Anson Wood and Carrie Bayle Wood. Grace was a member at First Presbyterian Church in Lewisburg, PA.She is survived by a son, Bob Donaldson and wife, Hazel of Morganton; daughter-in-law, Alice Donaldson of Mifflinburg, PA; nine grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, Ralph W. Donaldson, Harry Schuster, and Edward Schwab; daughter, Betty Jean Donaldson and a son Richard E. Donaldson.The memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 18, 2014 at St. Mary's and St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church with Rev. Francis King officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. She greatly missed her eye sight and would like memorial contributions to be made to North Carolina Lions, Inc., 7050 Camp Dogwood Dr., Sherrills Ford, NC 28673.
