Greg Shull

Greg Shull, 63, of Hickory, NC passed away on Sunday January 19, 2020 at Frye Regional. Born on October 3, 1956, he was the son of the late Finley Shull and Annie Cline. Greg graduated from Freedom High School, Class of ’74. He attended Western Piedmont Community College. Greg worked at Broughton Hospital. He was an avid San Francisco 49ers fan. Greg loved his grandchildren.

Greg is survived by his daughters, Whitney Rhodes and husband, Kenny of Hickory, NC, Jessica Wyke and husband, Jonathan of Morganton, NC; grandchildren, Kolten and Walker Rhodes; brothers, Bruce Shull and wife, Mia and Wayne Shull; step-sister, Donna Coffey.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 25, 2020 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Deal officiating. The family will speak to friends following the service.
