Heaven gained an angel on May 18, 2018, when Hannah Abernethy Moye Mosteller, received her wings. Born on October 23, 1952 in Catawba County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Whitehead Moye and Iris Abernethy.
Hannah was a very sweet and kind hearted person that loved her family and friends dearly. She enjoyed watching old TV shows, but especially loved playing little jokes on people. She had a joyous laugh. Hannah was a huge North Carolina State fan and retired from Broughton Hospital.
In addition to her parents, Hannah was preceded in death by her husband, William Howard Mosteller; cousins, Joseph James Hinds, Jr. and Joseph E. Lowe, IV; and uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph James Hinds.
Hannah is survived by her brother, William Shelburn Moye, III; cousins, Moye Hinds Lowe and Marian Hinds DiMeo; godson, Kelby Auldredge; special friends, Cathy Knox and husband, Chris, Diane Hennessee, Amanda Pearson, and Jeremy Auldredge; and her dog, Dakota.
The family will have a service at a later date.
