Harold Ray "Goo" McKee, 51, Old Creek Road, Morganton, NC, died Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at his residence following a lengthy illness. Born in Cumberland County, NC on February 27, 1957, he was the son of Harold Lloyd McKee of Morganton and Esther Davis Melton of Marion, NC.Goo is survived by his wife, Betty Bumgarner McKee of the home; a brother, Willie McKee of Morganton; and a half brother, Jeremy Melton of Asheville, NC.The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 18, 2008 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with Reverends Steve Chapman and Bill Rice officiating. Burial will follow in Conley Road Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:30 until 11:00 a.m. before for the service.
