Hazel Lowman Crawley

Hazel Lowman Crawley, 78, of Lail Rd., Glen Alpine, NC died Saturday, November 20, 2010, following a period of declining health. She was born in Cleveland County on July 24, 1932 and was the daughter of the late William Monroe Lowman and Linda Walker Lowman. She was a active member of Morganton Seventh Day Adventist Church and a retired teacher of Burke County Schools.Mrs. Crawley is survived by her husband, William Howard "Bill" Crawley of the home; family members, Doris Brittain and Bea Tullis; and special friends, Linda Noe and Anne Tucker.The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 22, 2010 at Morganton Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor Barry Mahorney and Rev. Boyd K. Biggerstaff officiating. Burial will follow at the Seventh Day Adventist Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service. At other times the family will receive at the home.
