Helen Marie Bowman, 63, of Connelly Springs, NC, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2023.
Born in Orange County, NY on May 13, 1959, she is the daughter of the late Frances Nelson Bowman and Irene Mae Wood Bowman. Helen was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She worked as store manager at Turkey Hill Mini Mart in Honesdale, PA for many years. She enjoyed woodworking, crafts, and especially spending time with her family.
Helen is survived by her children, Joshua Merring, Jessica Merring, Crystal Merring, and Victoria Merring; 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Brewer and Irene Conrad; and a number of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Merring, Sr.; son, Donald Merring, Jr.; and brother, Frances Bowman, Jr.
No services are planned at this time.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
