Helen Morello Lolli

Helen Morello Lolli, 88, of Grace Ridge, Morganton, NC died Sunday, February 14, 2010. Born in Middlesex County, CT on September 2, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Paul Morello and Sabestaina Gillitto Morello. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Angelo, Sebastian "Charlie", Louis "Gene", Joseph, and Attilio Morello; and sisters, Mary Morello Milardo and Anna Morello Giunfrido.Helen is survived by her husband of 64 years, Anthony Lolli, Sr. of the home; children, Tony Lolli of Vermont, Lorraine Lolli Waldman and husband, Bruce, of Peekskill, NY, Raymond Lolli and wife, Rebecca, of Ft. Ashby, WV, and Gerald Lolli and wife, Barbara, of Morganton; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.There will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 728 W. Union Street, Morganton, NC 28655. Sossoman Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
