Henriet Martha Hayworth

Henriet Martha Hayworth, 71, of Morganton died Sunday, April 21, 2013 following a period of declining health. She was born in Wayne County, MI on April 13, 1942 and was a daughter of the late Otto Henry Long and Violetta Edith Decker Long. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Violetta Dingman.Mrs. Hayworth enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and cooking. She attended St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Marion.A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Henriet is survived by her husband, Thomas Lee

"Tom" Hayworth of the home; sons, Todd Hayworth and his wife, Wendy, and Lee Hayworth all of Morganton, and Jeff Hayworth of Hickory; eight grandchildren; a sister, Irene Britz; and her special friend, Reneé Yantz both of Michigan.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2013 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with Rev. Neill Shaw officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. Wednesday.
