Henry Lynn Bollinger

Henry Lynn Bollinger, 74, of Morganton, NC died Thursday, November 28, 2013. Born in Burke County, NC on May 14, 1939, he was the son of the late John Henry Bollinger and Ruth Duckworth Bollinger. Henry was of the Baptist faith.Mr. Bollinger is survived by his children, Henry Lynn Bollinger, Jr. and Penny Bollinger Moody, both of Morganton; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; siblings, Garland Bollinger, Faye B. Norman, and Ann B. Carswell and her husband, Peewee, all of Morganton; a number of nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Brenda Fowler.In addition to his parents, Henry was preceded in death by a brother, Clayton "Hatch" Bollinger; a sister, Juanita Crotts and her husband, Sam; and a brother-in-law, Lewis Norman.The memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, December 1, 2013 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with Pastor Dean Gurley officiating.
