Howard Douglas Pritchard

Mr. Howard Douglas Pritchard, 55, of Morganton passed away Friday, August 27, 2021. Born in Burke County on March 18, 1966, he was the son of the late Howard Winslow Pritchard and Carolyn White Pritchard.

Mr. Pritchard was a great man. He loved going to the mountains, beach, camping, and fishing. He thought the world of all of his kids, grandbabies, and family.

Mr. Pritchard is survived by his daughter, Kayla Pritchard (Ronald) of the home; two step-sons, John Sides (Bethany) and Robert Sides; step-daughter, Crystal Serrano (Andres); nine grandbabies, Alany, Axel, Ameliya, Mason, Isimar, Esteban, Iliyana, Jermy, Genesis, and one on the way.

Mr. Pritchard is preceded in death by his wife, Angela Partridge; mother and father, Carolyn and Howard Pritchard; two sisters, Carol Annette Pritchard, and Christy Pritchard; and nephew, Tracy Bryan Mode. Also, grandparents, aunts, and uncles.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m., Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Sossoman Funeral Home.  The funeral will follow at 2 p.m. in the Colonial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Paul White officiating.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
