Howard Seymour

HOWARD SEYMOUR - 54 of Weaverville, NC (a resident of Gastonia, NC and originally a resident of Oklahoma) passed away in peace Monday, August 15, 2016 at Solace Center/Hospice of Asheville following an unexpected illness resulting in his declining health. Howard was born March 5, 1962 in Tulsa County, Oklahoma and was son to the late Bill Seymour and late Thermal Hammonds Seymour of Sand Springs, Oklahoma and is survived by his step-mother Marjorie Seymour.
Howard is also survived by his spouse of 24 years, Patrice Seymour, and his eldest child, Davon Seymour Massey of Oklahoma and his children Erin Seymour and Jake Seymour both of Weaverville, NC; his siblings, Debbie Seymour Engelhardt of Oklahoma and Joe Seymour of Missouri.
Howard was a skilled welder by trade, but had the ability to perform challenging tasks. Howard was a dedicated employee and made many friends along his journey with his smile and laughter. Howard was a fun loving person and a doting husband and father that will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
A celebration of the life of Howard Seymour will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 10, 2016 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home located at 1011 South Sterling Street, Morganton, NC 28655.
