Hubert O. Walker, 82, of Mt. Vernon Dr., Alexandria, VA, formerly of Morganton, died Monday, February 4, 2008 at the Potomac Hospital in Woodbridge, VA. He was born October 28, 1925 in Burke County. Hubert was a former member of Burkemont Baptist Church.He is survived by sons, Gary Walker and wife, Laura, of Woodbridge, VA, and Harold Walker and wife, Vickie of Manassas, VA; and 5 grandchildren.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 9, 2008 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with Rev. Eddy Bunton officiating. Burial will follow at Burke Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1 until 2 pm at the funeral home.
