Ima Jean McIntosh Ward

Ima Jean McIntosh Ward, 77 of Connelly Springs, NC died at 10:20 a.m., Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at her residence. She was born in 1940 to Lee and Pansy McIntosh in Yancey County, NC. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Phillip McIntosh, Robert McIntosh, and Jerry McIntosh.

Surviving in addition to her husband, Ray Ward of the home are her three children, Tammy and Clay Fisher of Lincolnton, Angie and Alan Miller of Statesville, and Keith Ward of George Hildebran. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and brother, George and Linda McIntosh of Icard.

The family will receive friends from 3 until 4 p.m., Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center. A memorial service will follow at 4 p.m. in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Campbell officiating.
