Inez Holland Duke, 73, of Morganton, NC passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016. Born in Cumberland County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Vaden Holland and Mildred Ellis Holland. Inez retired as secretary of Horizon Church. In 2000 she was a finalist in the National Pillsbury Bake-Off.
Mrs. Duke is survived by her daughter, Kelly Duke of the home; a brother, David Holland; and 3 sisters, Catherine Greene, Janis Holland, and Alma Holland.
In addition to her parents, Inez was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Duke; and a brother, Ellis Holland.
A service for Mrs. Duke will be held at a later date.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family.
