It was always a blessing to be able to text her and tell her happy birthday, merry Christmas, etc. but I always enjoyed being able to talk to her on the phone when I could or even text her when I couldn’t call. I always enjoyed when me, mom, dad,Lawson, and Noah would go down to the Carolinas for the summers (when we could) and being able to be around her and I have always enjoyed receiving knitted gifts from her and I still have every single one that she has ever made for me, I will forever be grateful to be able to have her as a loving family member and I miss her every day!
Enjoyed working with Ms Imra at Grace. She was my supervisor for years. She was very passionate about her job. She was a woman of small words, but would get her point across. I would pick her up and take her home everyday. In return, she would always order my cologne from Avon for me. She will definitely be missed.
Irma was a special person and a friend ..she was always kind and smiling .. I was a nurse at Grace and she worked in dietary and brought food and snacks to the floor for patients .. to her family I want to say I know you lost a special family member .. RIP now my dear friend ….Joann Riddle
Gary and family,.my deepest sympathy. I pray for peace and comfort for all!
I was so surprised and broken hearted to see this obit about Irma Lee. She was 7 months older than me and we were always so close growing up, as I was with all of the Simmons kids! We grew up in the same church and we were always there. When I would be in the hospital she would always come see me. I loved her so much 😇. I know she’s already with Jesus!
I’m so sorry for your loss Gary and Sharon. Lots of prayers for you guys and your loved ones
You were a Special Cousin now you are whole again and in the arms of Jesus, I love you 😍
