Isaac Carswell

Isaac Carswell, 13, of Morganton died unexpectedly Thursday, October 23, 2014. Isaac was born November 3, 2000 in Burke County to Andy and Wendy Carswell. He was an 8th grade student at Liberty Middle School. He was a wonderful and caring young man who loved people and was very affectionate. Isaac was his parent’s life and joy. Mom, Dad and Sister will miss you dearly.
In addition to his parents, Isaac is survived by a sister, Candis Carswell of the home; grandparents, Patsy Ramsey Mitchell, Kenny Mitchell, Pee Wee and Ann Carswell, all of Morganton; great-grandmother, Lucille Ramsey of Morganton, Aunt; Laura and husband, Jeff McGhee, of Morganton; two cousins, Jason Campbell and Morgan McGhee; and numerous other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held Monday, October 27, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Burkemont Baptist Church with the Reverends Eddy Bunton and Earl Cross officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service, from 5:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m. at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Sossoman Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
