Isaac Walter Santos

Isaac Walter Santos, Sr., 88, of Rockyford St. in Morganton died Sunday, January 25, 2009 at College Pines Nursing Home following a period of declining health. He was born February 14, 1920 in Philadelphia, PA, and was a son of the late Frank Santos and Florrie Lee Santos. Isaac was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Jenkins Santos; and a sister, Ione Madison.He is survived by sons, Warren Santos and Isaac Walter Santos, Jr., and a daughter, Stephanie Santos, all of Morganton; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 29, 2009 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Cronk officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends a half-hour before the service at the funeral home.
