J. C. Parton

J. C. Parton, 74, of Morganton, NC died Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Morganton Long Term Care. Born in Swan County, NC on July 31, 1937, he was the son of the late Harley Pearson Parton and Grace Ann McHann Parton. J. C. was a former employee of Drexel Heritage Furnishings.He is survived by his brother, Harley Parton, Jr. of Morganton, and sisters, Bonnie Mae Jones of Asheville, NC, Hazel Pauline Hall of Valdese, NC, and Dorothy Coulter of Valdese.No services are planned at this time.Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
