J. Don Everhart

Doctor J. Don Everhart passed away Monday, December 16, 2013 at Grace Ridge Retirement Center in Morganton, NC. He was 77 years old and is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sharon Ivester Everhart and his sister, Frankie Bailey and husband, Andy of Florida.Born in Proximity mill village in Greensboro, NC, Don served in both the Air Force and Army. He had a PhD in developmental psychology and worked all over the country as a consultant, researcher, and forensic expert witness, and in private practice. After retirement Don and Sharon moved to West Palm Beach, bought an RV, and traveled. He and his wife led an adventure filled life. They were in the process of relocating to Grace Ridge in Morganton, NC when he died.He will be missed by all who knew him.
