Jack E. Butler

Jack E. Butler, 53, of Morganton, NC went to his Heavenly Home on Sunday, December 18, 2011 at Grace Hospital. Born in Jefferson County, TX on August 1, 1958, he was the son of Jack Edward Butler and Jonell McMurry Lail. Jack was a faithful member of The Rock Church and had worked for the Waldensian Bakery for 15 years.Jack is survived by his daughter, Gina butler of Gate City, VA; a son, Aaron Butler of Tennessee; brothers, Joey, Jim, Scott, Brent, Ricky, and Herbert; sisters, Debbie, Dana, Brenda, and Vickie; and his mother, Jonell McMurry Lail and husband, Kenneth.Jack was preceded in death by a sister, Pam Butler.The funeral will be held at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, December 22, 2011 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center with Rev. Billy Chapman officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service. The graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 23, 2011 at Forest Hill Cemetery.
