Jackie Kanoy

Jackie Kanoy, 89, of Morganton, NC died Thursday, January 2, 2014. Born in Guilford County, NC on July 5, 1924, she was the daughter of the late John Raymond Sexton and Elsie Cashatt Sexton. Jackie was a member of North Morganton United Methodist Church.Mrs. Kanoy is survived by her son, Billy Kanoy and his wife, Paulette, of Morganton; a daughter, Barbara Kanoy Stroupe and her husband, Richard, of Morganton; four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; brothers, Ray, Don, and Larry Sexton; a sister, Carol Snead.

In addition to her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Kanoy, Sr.The family will receive friends Saturday, January 4, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center.
