James "David" Pearson

James "David" Pearson, 46, of Huffman View Trail, Morganton, NC, died Sunday, September 10, 2006 at Grace Hospital following a period of declining health. He was born October 4, 1959 in Burke County, NC to the late Clyde Pearson and Etta Faye Epley Pearson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Doug Pearson and a sister, Janice Benfield. David was a former employee of Packaging Corporation of America and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Mr. Pearson is survived by wife, Kathy Clark Pearson; a son, Cody Pearson, both of the home; brothers, Keith Pearson and his wife Ann, and Johnny Pearson; sister Carolyn Pearson, all of Morganton; and left to cherish his memory a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 13, 2006 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with the Reverends Dean Presnell and Douglas St. John officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. At other times the family will be at Mr. Pearson’s residence, 4736 Huffman View Trail, Morganton, NC.
