James Whisenant

James Whisenant, 42, of Shirley St., Connelly Springs, died, Wednesday, January 16, 2008. James was born in Burke County on June, 28, 1965 and was a son of Zula Randolph Whisenant and the late Robert Whisenant. James owned and operated J & W Auto in Hickory for a number of years. He was a loving father, grandfather and brother.James is survived by daughters, Melissa W Dillingham and husband, Dustin, of Valdese, Kimberly W. Chavez of Newton, Stephanie Whisenant and Brittany Whisenant both of Valdese; grandchildren Calobe Dillingham, Serenity Dillingham, and Landon Dillingham, all of Valdese; a brother, Rhodney Whisenant; and and by sisters, Jeannie Whisenant and Doris Abernathy all of Morganton.No services are planned at this time.
