Jan Price

Jan Price, 87, of Butler Street, Morganton died Saturday, October 18, 2008, at her residence following a period of declining health. She was born in Rutherford County on November 29, 1920 and was the daughter of the late Horace Grady Clements and Winona Hill Clements. Mrs. Price attended Cross Memorial Baptist Church.She is survived by her sons and their wives, Kenneth and Helen Price of Spruce Pine, NC, Jerry and Karen Price of Crystal River, Fla, and David and Diane Price of Goldsboro, NC; a daughter and her husband, Brenda and John Wilson of Laurens, SC; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Price was preceded in death by four brothers.The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 20, 2008, in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at Burke Memorial Park. The family will receive friends an hour before the funeral.
