Jean Barnette

Jean Barnette, 73, of Morganton passed away Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017.  Born in Burke County, NC on January 28, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Boyd Robinson and Polly Stamey Robinson.  She had worked at Roses and Autumn Care of Drexel.

A loving mother and grandmother, Jean is survived by her friend of 52 years, Larry Segars of the home; daughter, Donna Abee and husband, Tim; and granddaughters, Melissa Abee and Crystal Raymundo.

In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her sister, Jackie Robinson.

The memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center with the Rev. Odell Mosley officiating.
