Jean Elizabeth Orders, 82, of Morganton died Sunday, March 29, 2015. Born in Burke County, NC on July 6, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Conley Orders and Leola Lail Orders. She was a former member of EMC Methodist Church in Glen Alpine.
Jean is survived by her caregivers and cousins, Janet Pendley and Nell White, both of Glen Alpine; an aunt, Margaret Black of Morganton; and numerous other cousins.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Morganton Long Term Care for their loving, compassionate care of Miss Orders.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P. M., Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Glen Alpine Cemetery.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
