Jean Frost, 69, of Morganton, NC, died Friday, May 17, 2024.
Born in Pulaski County, VA on July 16, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Allen Frost and Sena Dawn Lawson Frost.
Jean was high spirited and had a very good heart. She enjoyed animals and being outside. She was a loving mother, sister, and aunt.
Jean is survived by her son, Larry Dean Buff (Traci); ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Pat O’Dell and Barbara Frost; and numerous other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by two brothers, Carroll Wayne Frost and Ronnie “Peewee” Frost.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Sunday, May 19, 2024 at Sossoman Funeral Home. The graveside service will be held at 12 p.m., Monday, May 20, 2024 at Park Hill Memorial Gardens with Rev. Doug Woody officiating.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Mom I miss you you'll always be in my heart I'll never forget all the great times we had but your in a better place now your up there with Grandma and Wayne and Peewee I know I wasn't the best son but I was always there when you needed me I didn't wate until you were so sick you didn't know what was going on to start coming see you I didn't say I couldn't stand to see you like that as an excuse not to come and check on you or make up every excuse I could to keep from coming to see you no I was the one that was there everyday taking care of you but that's what a real son does but everybody knows who you're son was but I'll go for now I love you and miss you love always your son scotty
