Leave a tribute for Jeanette Garrison Kerley.
She was our neighbor on Chestnut Street. We played " No Bears Out Tonight" and grew up in a different world. Stayed outside until dark, walked home from the movies at night, walked to the Burke Dairy for ice cream in the summertime. She was a lot of fun and I will miss her.
Laura, so sad for the loss of your sister. Losing a sibling is losing one who shared so many memories and experiences of your life, and I think you feel the loss much more than others would expect you to. I always enjoyed chatting with Jeannette and missed her after her health became an issue. Dana's remarks at the funeral were right on target. And I think Jeanette would have loved Abbi's singing.
Laura, so sorry for your loss of Jeanette. I knew her before we were both married. She at the time worked at Eloise Shop, and we would meet for lunch downtown. Loved her, she always dressed well. Much sympathy!
I'm so sorry for your loss of your dear Jeanette. May your wonderful and fun memories help you through this rough time of grief. Y'all are in my thoughts and prayers. Much love, Brownie
