Jeffery Earl Chapman

Jeffery Earl Chapman, 56, of Vale, NC, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2022 following a brief illness.

Born in Burke County, NC on April 27, 1966, he was the son of Earl Chapman and the late Azalee Childers Chapman.  Jeffery was a long-time truck driver and was known by the CB handle, Lone Wolf.

Mr. Chapman is survived by his partner, Doreen Potts; sisters, Barbara Stewart (Lee), Sandra Bentley (David), and Tammy Whitmire (Bill); a number of nieces and nephews and his fur baby, AJ.

In addition to his mother, Jeffery was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Diane Chapman.

The graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Randy Cook officiating.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
