Jerry Dean Jaynes

Jerry Dean Jaynes, 59, of Glen Alpine died Thursday, October 15, 2009 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. Born in McDowell County, he was the son of the late Thomas Theodore and Naomi Harris Jaynes.Surviving are a brother, Carrol Jaynes of Tennessee and sisters, Margaret Vess of Morganton and Betty Boyd of Texas.A graveside service for Jerry and his brother, Donnie, will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, October 18, 2009 at Murphy’s Chapel Cemetery, Marion, NC with Rev. Billy Chapman officiating. The family will receive friends at Sossoman Funeral Home from 2:00. until 3:00 p.m. Sunday.
