Jerry Randall Scott

Jerry Randall Scott, II, 42, of Vale, NC passed away peacefully while surrounded by his loving family on Monday, November 28, 2011 at the Burke Palliative Care Center in Valdese. He was born in Morganton, NC on November 5, 1969 to Barbara Gee Scott of Naples, FL and Jerry R. Scott of Morganton. He was a member of Burkemont Baptist Church and was a business partner in The Wheelchair Place. Jerry was highly respected and well loved by all who had the privilege of being a part of his life.In addition to his parents, Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Rocksann Scott; step-sons, Travis and Samuel Keener; sisters, Robin McCree and husband, Timothy, of Norwood, NC and Kimberly Elmore of Asheboro, NC; half-sisters, Amanda and Ashley Scott of Morganton; nieces, Katie McCree of Australia and Laura McCree of Boone, NC; and a nephew, Matthew Elmore of Hickory, NC.The celebration of Jerry?s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 2, 2011 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center with Rev. Tim Clippard and Rev. Jeffery Beach officiating.
