Jimmie Lynn Luckadoo, 70, of Morganton passed away after a period of declining health Monday, November 12, 2018. Born on November 11, 1948, Jimmie was the son of James Phifer Luckadoo and Hilma Nell Barrier Luckadoo. Jimmie was a lifelong member of St. Mathews United Methodist Church. He was an avid sports fan, loved drag racing, and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Jimmie is survived by his daughters, Ashley Luckadoo and Traci Davis (Richard); grandchild, Lela Davis; brother, Carl Luckadoo; aunts, Lavenia Duckworth and Ruth Champion.
Services were held Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Burke Memorial Park with the Rev. Terry Duckworth officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Nature Conservancy.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
