Jimmy A. Norman, 84, of Morganton, NC, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2023.
Born in Burke County, NC on May 3, 1939, he was the son of the late Walter and Mamie Norman.
Jimmy was a simple, country man who was raised in the Baptist faith and enjoyed hunting.
Mr. Norman is survived by his children, Kenneth Norman, Jimmy Norman, Jr. (Annette), Roger Norman (Angie), Jerry Norman, and Angel Norman; grandchildren, Candace Pritchard, Brent Norman, Tyler Norman, Corey Norman, Chase Clark, and Jacob Clark; brothers, Henry Norman and Charles Norman; sister, Pearlene Norman and Margie Patton; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by a grandson, Dalton Norman; and brothers, Glen, Grover, and Dallas.
No services are scheduled at this time.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Sorry to hear about Jim. He was my neighbor at one time and I enjoyed talking to him. Had a good ole sole. Sorry to hear he passed.
