Jimmy "Brianna" Stamey

Jimmy “Brianna” Stamey, 22, of Morganton, NC gained her angel wings on Thursday, June 7, 2018.  Born on May 3, 1996 in Burke County, NC, she was the daughter of Abraham William Stamey and Elisabeth “Lisa” Carol Stroupe Braswell.  Brianna was a wonderful mommy to her baby boy and was loved by all.  She never met a stranger.

Brianna was predeceased by her boy-friend, Trae Ward; grandfather, Charles Stamey; cousin, Chasity Abernathy; and uncles, Jimmy Stamey and Frank Braswell.

Those left to cherish her memory include her parents, Abe Stamey of Ocala, Florida and Lisa Braswell and husband, Steve of Morganton; son, Carson Stamey; sisters, Nicki Braswell, Deni Smith and brother-in-law, Brandon, Carrie Bailey and brother-in-law, Josh, and Katelyn Braswell; and brother, John Luke Curtis.  Also surviving are grandparents, Margaret Stamey and Vernon and Judy Stroupe; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and nieces.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 – 12:00, Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Connelly Springs Freewill Baptist Church.  The funeral will be held at 12:00 noon in the church with Rev. Aaron Causby officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
