Jo Ann Liguori Mangum

Jo Ann Liguori Mangum, 74,  of Morganton passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at her residence.  Born in Burke County, NC on July 9, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Angelo Joseph Liguori and Edna McNeely Liguori.  She was a member of Morganton First Church of God.  Jo Ann retired from First Union Bank with 27 years of service.  She was a member of the Women of Moose and the American Business Women’s Association.

Jo Ann is survived by her husband, Richard Mangum of the home; daughter, Angela Morehead Williams (David) of Morganton; grandchildren, Justin Williams (Ashley) of Virginia and Sarah Williams of Illinois; step-children, Terry Mangum of Morganton and Kathy Mangum Bryson of Colorado; and a step-grandchild, Alex Mangum.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m., Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Sossoman Funeral Home.  The cryptside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Burke Memorial Park Mausoleum with Rev. Jon McDivitt officiating.
